LofiHood is designed as a local-first macOS app. This policy explains what data the app handles and how support requests are managed.
Summary
LofiHood does not require an account, does not sell personal data, does not run advertising, and does not use tracking for cross-app or cross-site profiling.
Data stored on your Mac
Albums, imported audio files, artwork, playback preferences, mood and kind selections, timer state, launch-at-login preference, and shortcut settings are stored locally on your Mac. You can delete imported content from the app or remove the app and its local data from macOS.
Network use
If you import a YouTube link or a direct audio URL, LofiHood contacts that source to download or read the audio you requested. Direct audio imports may include MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, AIFF, and FLAC URLs. The remote service may receive information such as your IP address and the requested URL under its own policy.
Purchases
LofiHood Pro is purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes payment information and provides purchase entitlement status to the app so Pro features can be unlocked or restored.
Support email
If you contact support, the email address you use and the content of your message are used only to reply, investigate issues, and improve LofiHood. Support messages are retained only as long as needed for those purposes unless a longer period is required by law.
Children
LofiHood is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
